About me
I am a retired Catholic school teacher. I have always been very proud of my Italian heritage. My mom came to the U.S. from Marsala, Sicily at 5. My dad was born here, however his parents were from Spinazola, Bari. Our family has always found it important to continue making the traditional recipes our grandparents and parents taught us. I am happy to share these foods with my only daughter who is named after my mother who she never met since my mom was already deceased when she was born. I am happy to say that my daughter is very proud of her heritage and would like to continue our family traditions.
