First generation Italian-American of Tuscan and Sicilian roots. Aunts owned restaurants in Torino and specialized in Florentine cooking. I cook a lot of my mother’s old Sicilian recipes and enjoy learning all types of Italian cooking. Took a course in Lazio a few years back with my granddaughter. Also, do a lot of Polish cooking because my husband was part Polish.
