I am a NYC born and bred Italian American, grew up watching mom in the kitchen; having memories of both my grammas cooking...AND my dad, who made a mean sausage. I am in my 50's, take care of my 94 year old mom; and am an occupational therapist.I also have to add, as of doctor's orders I have been trying to follow a vegan diet...and it has been VERY hard to recreate alot of my fave Italian dishes.
