My parents immigrated to the USA in 1966. I lost my beloved father last year, and though i always loved 'helping' mom, I cant seem to do things start to finish without her next to me or many phone calls! Keeping our heritage and traditions alive is so important to me...now more than ever. I know my daddy would be so proud. My dad grafted a lemon tree from a twig he brought home from his father's tree in Italy in 1981. Today there are about 5 lemon trees...and we live in Pennsylvania! We bring them in in the winter. They bear fruit numerous times a year. I would love to incorporate his lemons in more of my cooking
