I love Italian Food! and love to cook it I learned to cook from my mother and my Nona. I grew up in Queens NY, in Corona, a nice Italian neighborhood with Latichinies and the aroma of every Itlaian delicacie you can imagine, oh! how I wish I could go back to that place and time, I can still see the snails out front in woven baskets and more filled with beans and ligumes, I can still smell the aroma of the cheeses and dried meats hanging from hooks and racks on the ceiling. Oh, how I wish I could go back to that place and time! I enjoy your shows and recepies very much as mt Nona never wrote down her recepies she had them locked in her head. My mother wrote many of my nona's recepies on paper as she was from England and had married my dad during WWII. Before she came to the USA she had never tasted Italian cooking, but soon became a custom to it and learned all my Nona would teach her. What I did not learn from them I am learning from you as I find that your style of preparation and cooking Is a similar experience to that of my Nona who learned to cook in Compobasso and in NY and cooked for my Italian grandfather who was from Palermo.
