Nonna knows that one of the best things to have in an italian garden is a fig tree. This wonderful fruit is sweet and is wonderful when served with goat cheese or even grilled. My fig tree was given to me by my Papa when we bought our home and it was a small little branch that grew into this fruitful tree. This will be a great memory for me and my family.
