I am a wife, mother of two, grandmother of three, and owner of Elisa’s Custom Creations.
At 65, I transitioned from family responsibility, caregiver, and work to retirement and with much free time. It was time

to reinvent myself. I made an assessment of my skills and Elisa’s Custom Creations was born (a small, home-based, gift business).

Gardening is my other creative outlet. I think of my garden as a three-dimensional canvas; rather than paints, I use plants. But unlike a painting that you paint it and it’s done, a garden is like a kid. It requires constant maintenance and housekeeping but the results give me a great sense of achievement and pleasure. With concrete benches, colorful and fragrant flowers and trickle fountain, I created a place of serenity and meditation. Unlike the vast majority that seek to vacation in exotic places, I prefer the comforts of my home and the beauty of my garden and unlike the vast majority of retirees, I don't worry about relocating to a warmer climate because I prefer to stay close to family and friends.
