Cannoli Cookie Bars
Everyone's favorite cannoli collides with a decadent cookie bar in this celebratory treat.
Ingredients

For the cookie bars
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup butter, softened
 - 1 large egg
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup chocolate chips
 - 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
 - 1/4 cup pistachio, chopped
 - zest of 1 orange
 - 1 Cannoli Candy Bar

- Get the ingredients needed for this recipe HERE
 - Spray a square baking pan with baking spray.
 - Cream 1/2 cup softened butter, add in sugars and cream again until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla. Mix again.
 - Combine flour, baking soda and salt, then add to the butter mixture. Once all combined, fold in chocolate chips, maraschino cherries, orange zest, and pistachio.
 - Spread cookie dough into the bottom of the pan. Dough will spread as it cooks to fill in any gaps. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
 - While cookie bars are baking, break the Cannoli Candy Bar into pieces and place in the freezer.
 - Remove pan from oven and carefully place candy bar pieces on top. Let cool completely before cutting.
